It’s month of March….. exam month 🙂 . Kids love to snack whether exam time or vacation and night owls of March definitely need healthy power packed snacks to munch.
Avoid junk food and fried snacks. Dates are good source of energy and fibre and protein rich nuts crushed and made to balls are perfect power packed snacks. Remove seeds from the dates or use seed less dates. In a mixer coarsely powder almonds and walnuts. Transfer it to a mixing bowl. Now powder dates and raisens. Add it with the powdered nuts. Add cinnamon powder and mix well with hand. Make small balls out of it. Roll the balls on desiccated coconut powder .
* You can replace cinnamon with semi sweetened coco powder (can add 1/2 to 1 tbsp).

Dates _ 1 cup
Almonds _ 1/4 cup
Walnuts _ 1/4 cup
Raisens _ 1/3 cup
Cinnamon powder _ 1 tsp
Desiccated coconut(optional)_ 2 tbsp
1.Remove seeds from the dates or use seed less dates .
2.In a mixer grind almonds and walnuts into coarse powder. Transfer it to a mixing bowl.
3. Now blend dates and raisins. Transfer it to the bowl with the powdered nuts.
4.Add cinnamon powder and mix well with hand.Make small balls out of it. Coat the balls with desiccated coconut.
