This chutney is a side dish for dosa, paratha and even pulao . Made this chutney yesterday with pulao . Methi corn pulao ,garlic chutney and curd ..the combination is awesome. This chutney compliments well with mild spicy and slightly sweet corn methi pulao.
Dry roast the garlic and red chillies for 1 minute in medium flame .Grind chopped tomatoes ,garlic, red cilllies with salt .Add seasoning to the chutney.
*Grind the chutney with out adding water.
Tomato Garlic chutneyPrint This
- Tomatoes _ 2 -3
- Garlic pods _ 6-8
- Dry Red chilly _ 4-5
- Salt _ as needed
- Mustard _ - 1 tsp
- Oil _ as needed
1.Dry roast the garlic and red chillies for 1 minute in medium flame .
2.Grind chopped tomatoes ,garlic, red cilllies and salt together without adding water.
3.Heat oil add mustard ,as it crackle carefully add chutney keeping in low flame. Simmer for 4-5 minutes until the oil separates.
