‘Mangoes’ the king of fruit is here and its time to fill your kitchen with mangoes raw and ripe, and your menu with variety of mango recipes. This is a super duper easy chutney recipe, pure folk cooking of Kerala, with just three ingredients ripe mango, shallots and red chilly. Finally add pinch of coconut oil . Relish this with cold curd rice on a hot summer afternoon !!
Saute red chilly and sambar onion for a while in a small kadai. In the small bowl of mixer coarsely grind all the ingredients together .

- Ripe Mango _ 1
- Shallots/ Sambar onion _ 2-3
- Dry Red chilly _ 3
- Coconut Oil _ 1 tsp
- Salt _ as needed
- Saute red chilly and sambar onion in medium heat for few seconds in a small kadai to reduce the pungent flavour of sambar onion.
- In the small bowl of mixer coarsely grind all the ingredients together .
- Transfer the chutney to bowl and add 1 tsp coconut oil and mix.
